On upgrade, you almost always have to rebuild the patch that cleans up the autofiles. To do that: > svn-do > quilt delete remove-auto-files.patch > quilt new remove-auto-files.patch > quilt add config.log > quilt add config.status > quilt add config.cache > quilt add config.hin~ > rm config.log config.status config.cache config.hin~ > quilt refresh > exit 2. The music really is terrible. Really truly terrible. Oh, and quit via Ctrl+C. Ctrl+C three times if you're in a real hurry. -- David B Harris , Tue, 4 Mar 2003 23:57:25 -0500 Ah, it's not that bad. You're looking for nostalgia, right? I remember playing this on a 19" TV wired up to a huge, 40-pound 286 Compaq "portable" with an amber monochrome monitor. Woo-hoo, Saturday night entertainment! It just wouldn't feel right without the audio. :) To that end, it did take me a bit of screwing around to make the audio work on my system. First, remember to start sopwith with -p, which enables audio. Then, in the program, make sure to press the s key to turn on sound effects. For me personally, audio seemed to work best when I installed libsdl1.2debian-alsa rather than libsdl1.2debian-oss. YMMV. -- Kenneth J.
