Customizing the Interface
Beside the download list, the main window also contains
the following elements, none of which are essential for
adding and
managing downloads.
Toolbar
Provides access to frequently used features. It's possible
to use the File menu or
keyboard shortcuts instead.
Infobar
Contains statistical information such as the download speed and the
amount of time left.
Reordering Pane
Makes it possible to reorder the
download list. Instead of these buttons, you can
drag and drop downloads.
You may choose to hide each one of them indidually by deactivating the
corresponding check-box in the View menu, giving the
download list more room.

Use more than one news server at a timeSeverin Heinigerseverinheiniger@gmail.com2010Équipe de développement de LottaNZB

Multiple News Servers
Only one news server account is required to start downloading from the
Usenet, but there are reasons to use more than one server.
Consider the following situation:
You already use a free, but unreliable news server.
Because some files cannot be found on that news
server, especially old ones, you choose to create an account at a news
server that charges by the amount of downloaded data.
In order to save money, you would like to download from that news server
only if a file cannot be found on the free news server.
The following features are available when more than one news server has been
defined.
Enabling and Disabling Servers
You can disable a news server by deactivating the check-box on the
left of the server entry. This causes LottaNZB to stop
downloading from that server. You can later enable the news server again
by activating the check-box.
Backup Servers
A backup server is a news server that is only used to download
files that could not be downloaded from any other news server.
A server can be marked as a backup server when
editing it.
Expand Advanced Settings and activate the check-box
Use as backup server.

Managing Downloads
The main window contains the list of downloads. Each download is represented
by its name, its size as well as the download progress in the form of a progress
bar. Depending on the status of the download, additional information is
included.
Activating Pause All in the toolbar or FilePause All will
prevent any further downloading from taking place, until it's deactivated
again.
In the download list,
completed downloads
are followed by those being post-processed,
as well as the download currently taking place and those that are waiting to
begin.

Choose where to put completed downloadsSeverin Heinigerseverinheiniger@gmail.com2010Équipe de développement de LottaNZB

Download Folder
All successfully completed downloads are moved to the download
folder. Unless you're
managing the downloads of another computer,
you can open it by clicking
Downloads in the toolbar or selecting FileOpen Download Folder.
By default, LottaNZB uses same folder that other applications
like web browsers use for downloads. It's usually called
Downloads and is located within your home folder.
Checking the Remaining Free Disk Space in the Download Folder
In the bottom-right corner of the main window, inside of the
Infobar, LottaNZB displays the amount of
free disk space that is left in the download folder. The value turns red if
there is not enough free disk space for all
incomplete downloads in the queue.
Please make sure that there's always enough free disk space.
When running out of disk space, LottaNZB will pause the downloads
until you free up some space.
Changing the Location of the Download Folder
If you want to download to a different folder, select EditPreferences
and choose the desired folder using the button to the right of
Download folder. The change will take effect
immediately, but already completed downloads will not be moved to the new
download folder.
